Mass. gun laws
A bud and I have a disagreement about the requirements for legally transporting pistols and mags into Mass. for NRA competition. He says you need a special permit since we do not have CCW permits here in Vermont. I say that as long as your mags do not hold over 10 rounds, (or are legal because they are grandfathered in ((manufactured)) before 1994), you are legal provided you comply with Federal Firearms transport laws. IE: in a locked box, separate from ammo and passenger compartment.
Any Mass competitors, or better yet shooters from outside Mass. that can help clarify or direct me to the appropriate regulations?
