RO champion commander
Hey everyone. Got a question. I recently picked up a Springfield RO champion with 4in bull barrel for my new carry firearm. Love the gun btw. So far I have about 200 rounds of different ammo thru it. When I cleaned it, I noticed that the barrel has a horseshoe scrap in it and a ring around the barrel close to the muzzle. I can feel it with my finger nail. I did clean and oil it before I shot it. Since this is my first 1911 that has a bull barrel I am just curious if this is normal break in wear since it doesn't use a barrel bushing. Thanks for the input!
