Serial Number Help

I'm trying to find the approximate manufacture date for my Colt Commander. I've tried looking at the serial number lists posted on several websites but they do not have serial number lists for the Colt Commanders unless they are buried within the M1911A1 production numbers. However, the serial number of the one I have doesn't appear in those lists.

What I have is a Colt Commander in .38 Super with an aluminium frame. The serial number is 25073-L.W. and I assume the suffix of L.W. means Light Weight for the aluminium frame of the gun.

I'd appreciate if anyone could give me a approximate date of manufacturer. Thanks.
