TRUGLO front sight in a new Remington slide

I purchased a stripped stainless Remington slide from CDNN. I bought a set of TRUGLO Novak sights to put on it. The rear went in with a wooden dowel, no trouble, and secures with a set screw. The front sight slides in easily. There's a hole in front of the front sight notch through the slide. It's about 1/16th of an inch in diameter. The underside of the front sight (where the hole is) has a recess as if a set screw or pin is meant to engage it. The front sight doesn't have a hole drilled through it. Is this tiny hole meant for a set screw? Thanks for any help.
