I am an old school Army veteran and was taught marksmanship with iron sights. The rifle I was issued was the old A1, and when I built mine it was an homage to the A1 and the A2 Marine Competition rifle. 20" Hbar barrel with A2 rear sights, which I love the quick adjustments, and old triangular handguards. I played around with different front posts on the A frame and found on Amazon some needle posts which allow me to be more precise on the target. I am now putting rounds into the same holes like I did with younger eyes thirty years ago.
My question is for old timers who refuse to give up the Iron on your set ups.
