So, I have a few Wilson Combat 47D magazines, as well as the factory Checkmates that come with either Valor.
Didn't sample the Wilson's with them yet; just wanted to test function with what they came with. Glad to say, even with limited practice, that the factory mags ran fine. Enough so that I purchased a set of 5 each from joes1911magmania off ebay: one set for the full-size with pads; the other flush-fit for the VBob.
So, has anyone tried these types out or use them with their Valors? They're just unmarked Checkmates with the patented follower, so I assume they'd work fine. Just checking the pulse of others who have gone this route to see how theirs function.
If not, what do you prefer?
