Yes and no. OF course it can, but I don't like an "FBI" can't for AIWB. I like neutral, and most AIWB are closer to neutral than 15deg (I'm not exactly sure what degree the SS models are at, but I believe they would be classified as FBI ~ 10-15 deg.). I will occasionally use my Blade-Tech Nano (similar style as SS) as an AIWB, but since I primarily keep the adjustable snaps at an FBI cant, it is difficult/uncomfortable for me with larger barrels. If you truly want an AIWB, get something that is adjustable or purpose built (Keepers Concealment) for it. That's my .02.
