Thanks! It's subtle, but there's definitely a difference in the way chrome and stainless steel shine. I'm a bit biased myself

Although steel is more scratch prone than chrome, if you do scratch steel, it can easily be repaired and re-polished. Although it's harder to scratch or ding chrome, if you manage to do it, you've got to strip the plating off and re-plate the gun or part.
