My Colt pistol has a model number of M1070CQBP (indicating its from the custom shop, hand fit and green case) however the gun came in a blue box and has a model number of 01070M45 listed on the box (indicating an assembly line gun). The rollmark is 12278EGA which makes sense as to why its marked Colt***M45A1 instead of Colt***USMC. Also, the gun came with 2 black WC mags...not sure if that is standard or makes a difference but noticed there was some chatter in the thread about it.
Can anyone elaborate or shed some light on whether this is a production or custom shop gun?
I'm sorry if this is in the thread but after reading it several times I was confusing myself even more. Hopefully this will help clear up the question for others as well, as this seems to be a hot topic of conversation.
Thank you all in advance.
Sam
