Klominus , extractor.
Well i saw a thread a while back here on a new almost not known company by the name of Klominus.
My spribgfield 1911 in 9mmx19 recently chipped my extractor.
So it being a mim part i chalked it up to finally and of course being the third owner of this gun i didnt want to send it in to springfield you know cause fear of it being stolen.
So this 1911 is a brazilian made gun a imbel forge if you will. So its not tbe best but its a reliable work horse, so while shopping for a new extractor klominus showed up on ebay.
After a little research i still know too little of the company but their extractors were a couple dollars cheaper and well free shipping was worth it or i was to buy wilson combat.
It was i beleive a mim part also could be wrong, it was hard to tension. I ended up using my vice and my hand and after final tuning a pair of pliers and a wood block.
It comes still in the standard cut, meaning its not polished on certain edges or contoured like typicall tuned extractors but i didnt care,if it works it works.
On 05-01-2016 i put 200 rounds of blazer aluminum cased ammo and it was flawless, i expected a couple failures but the gun didn't skip a beat.
So i guess klominus is ok i will buy more parts from them so as long as they keep offering free shipping.
