Hey all, I've been a lurker to this forum for a while. I'm an experienced shooter whom loves the 1911 platform. So much so's I own several. I enjoy the handgun style for several reasons. The first is the the fit in my hand. It feels natural to grip, and is extremely easy to point and shoot. Secondly, I love the history behind the firearm itself. It's a fantastic piece of engineering that's stood the test of time. Third, I love the enthusiasm Mr. Browning's piece of art still garners a century later. With all the variants and styles, it truly is a great design.
I look forward to chatting with you all about this fine platform, and the things your experience can teach me.
