Organizing ammo

Decided it's time to organize the long term storage ammo. I use .50 bmg mil spec cans.

My dilemma is does each can get one caliber or would it be better to pack each can so if I had to grab just a couple cans if my house catches fire, the SHTF, etc. I would have at least some ammo for each firearm. Maybe a mixture of loaded mags and boxes of ammo?

I only shoot 5.56, 5.7, .22lr, and 12g so only four calibers needed.

Thoughts?
