NEW SA Mil Spec joins my SS Loaded (with mods)

dimanche 1 mai 2016

Hey Guys (and Gals)
Today, I picked up my new parked SA Mil Spec from the LGS!

Last month, I bought a SS Loaded and had a great time tricking it out with a few aftermarket upgrades. It is a fantastic gun and I am very pleased with how it turned out...sort of my version of the TRP

More specifically, I removed the ILS, added an Ed Brown Magwell + MSH, replaced the FLGR with a GI Setup from Wilson Combat, added a set of black VZ Alien grips and a couple WC ETM Magazines.

After a few outings with the Loaded, I started to have the desire to own a basic parked Mil Spec. Something about the overall design really appeals to me...I really like Springfield's interpretation of the classic 1911. The arched MSH, spur hammer and short trigger combined with a couple modern improvements (lowered and flared ejection port, three dot sights and mag well bevel).

I plan to keep this one pretty much stock, but may add a set of VZs for use at the range.

Without further ado, here are a couple pics of both pistols...very excited!

Let's block ads! (Why?)
