New Kimber 9mm casings staying in the chamber.
Just bought a brand new Kimber Stainless II 9mm and took it to the range after a clean and lube of the gun. First impressions were great, I ran American Eagle 115g 100 rnds, then 50 rnds of Monarch 115g and 50 rnds of Blazer Brass 115g ammo with not one issue what so ever, the gun performed perfectly with all three of those ammo brands and weights. Then out of the blue, all of the sudden I switch to Winchester White Box 115g ammo and on every other round it fails to extract the casing from the chamber ( leaving the spent casing in the chamber with the slide partially locked open and the next round trying to go into the chamber). It was bad. I know there can be a break in period for a new Kimber but it was odd it worked perfectly with the other 3 brands of ammo 200 rnds no issues to me, I purposely wanted to try 4 different brands of ammo to see if any issues would arise and they did on the 4th box of WWB Ammo. Could this be a break in period issue due to the gun getting dirty after the first 200 rnds and the tight tolerances just causing the gun to cycle improperly / not smoothly, because it did start to get pretty gritty feeling after those first 200 rnds? Or could this be a extractor or magazine issue? Any tips or hints or advice would be great, thank you all.
