FS-Tactical 9mm Accuracy Issues

All,

I have a Rock and it is the older version with the huge billboard on the slide. Anyways I have about 500 rounds in it. I bought it new. It sat in the store for a couple of years.

The thing has horrible accuracy! I can not get a group smaller than 6 inches at 7 yards. (Is that even acceptable for the Rock?) I even installed an EGW angle barrel bushing and that did not help.

I noticed that the barrel is very sloppy and horribly fitted at the lower lugs and the barrel hood to the breach.

Question:

Should I ask Rock Island to see if they can refit another barrel or should I buy a new Rock Island 9mm barrel and have it fitted by a Gunsmith?
