Tried here recently to get into the whole thumb on top of safety thing. And the Harrison is a nice design for this, much better than stock IMHO. The harrison sits a little lower and has a nice curve to it.
But, I found that in some stress drills, doing one handed point shooting, or even two handed, there still were several times I did not engage the grip safety. And for whatever reason, I just do not shoot as accurately with the thumb on the safety.
So back to old school. Retro GI safety, and shooting without the thumb on the safety. Works well for me. And the Turnbull Retro GI safety, though a bit pricey, is very good quality, looks good and Alchemy fitted nice. Going to stay this way I think.
