10mm to .40cal conversion

Hello,

I'm new to the site and hopefully will be new to the 1911 platform. I'm looking at buying a Armscor/RIA 10mm MS and would like to know, what else if anything I would need to convert it to shoot .40 cal ammo, besides a different barrel? Would I need a different recoil spring or anything else changed in the upper to accomplish this? Or is it just that simple and a barrel is all that's required?
