WW I Service Pistol - Colt
My grandfather fought in WWI in France and his Colt Revolver was passed down to me. I have full documentation on his service (his regiment, where they landed in France, etc.) and of course, this is a gem I wouldn't part with. But I am curious what it is worth for insurance purposes. It's in great condition. I also have the holster. It is Patented Aug 19, 1913, labelled United States Property, and labelled COLT's PT.FA Mfg CO. On the other side it says Model of 1911 U S Army no 206764. I've attached photo's
