1966 9mm T-series Range Report

jeudi 28 avril 2016

I used about 200 rounds of 115gr fmj from Freedom Munitions and all the
ammo cycled just fine.

Steel target 9"x12" @ 15 yards

The spent cases landed 12' feet away in the same general area. (ordered recoil spring)

The glossy finish grips along with the front and rear strap area being very smooth has
me thinking about changing to different grips and maybe thinner.

I was very pleased with the action when racking the slide, my wife remarked that she
felt like she has better control when using this pistol. (I think she wants her own)

I have to say I'm not a real expert on trigger pull or reset distance but I will say the trigger pull feels smooth to me.

The ring style hammer is a big plus for me as I have big hands
and I had no trouble reaching it or cocking it back.

I know this is a short Range Report but I really can't find any fault with my
T-series Browning. I'm not a shooting expert or anything like that, just a simple
old retired guy that enjoys collecting quality firearms and shooting them.

It's an excellent operating pistol and one I will take very good care of for a long time.

One more thing about the finish, it looks wet and feels slick at the same time.
Those craftsmen at the factory sure did a great job.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
