Using reloads of same caliber in different handguns of same caliber

Cases are not unique to any gun unless you have specifically sized it for a specific chamber. If you are reloading to a standard SAMMI spec (OAL, charge, crimp, etc) as is documented in a standard reloading manual then they work in any gun of that caliber.

Like Rod above, my .45 loads work in 9 different pistols, my 9mm loads work in 4, and my .223 in 3 rifles. The cases just get reloaded randomly.

For rifles, many of us size a case for that specific chamber so my .308 loads only work in that bolt gun and are too long for my other rifle. As mentioned however, that was done intentionally.
