Is a refinished RR just a shooter?
I was going through the safe the other day and came across a RR Type II that formerly belonged to one of my dad's old hunting buddies. It is functionally in great shape, but sadly was re-blued many years ago. At one time I had considered having it refinished to an original look - it is currently a beautiful high polish blue - but can't really see the expense of another re-blue changing the value much. Has it essentially become just another shooter at this point? If so, I might as well get it out and enjoy shooting it, as I am certainly not getting any younger myself.
