New 1911 Addict

I can't seem to stop my addiction for the 1911. I have some reliable Glocks and a revolver but the 1911 platform is in a league of it's own. I used to own a Kimber Stainless II over 10 years ago but vowed never to buy another 1911 again because it always jammed on me and clearing the chamber got old after a while. In the beginning of this year I took my chances on a NIB blued Colt Government and despite the the hammer bite it worked flawlessly. The tolerances were tight and the thing just felt tough chambering a 45 and being all steel. A couple months later I bought SS Colt Commander and had the same experience. Now I just bought a Springfield TRP and pick it up this Friday. I wanted something with all the bells and whistles so to speak. I can't wait to shoot it at the range...The draw back is these pistols cost 2x if not 3x as much as the Polymer wonders. Hopefully 3 1911 in my stable will satisfy the bug
