Got my repair order

I sent in my original Series 70 a couple of weeks ago and got my repair order from Colt. Total will be $395 for a new Series 70 slide, barrel link and link pin. That is a little more than I expected but within the realm of what I'm happy to pay to have it repaired. I thought a replacement slide would have been cheaper.

I will post updates as I get them. Hopefully will have it back in the 3-6 month timeframe.

I was truthfully expecting a longer wait to hear from Colt. So far I'm very happy.
