Blue Loctite vs. solvent
I had a grip screw bushing come out today and could not get it separated from the grip screw without trashing the threads. Good thing is that Springfield is sending a replacement screw and bushing for it.
My question is in regards to using Loctite to insure that it does not come out again. Springfield recommends Blue Loctite for this.
Anybody have any idea how well Blue Loctite holds up to general cleaning solvents? I just want to make sure that I don't have the same issue again.
Thoughts or experiences?
