I'd like to be able to mount a suppressor though. Would pinning and welding a Surefire WarComp be a good idea? Is there a similar product I should look at from a different manufacturer? ]]> ARs ONLY dj528 http://ift.tt/1UhEtQE http://ift.tt/21fvT5Y Wed, 27 Apr 2016 17:11:58 GMT I have an Imbel FN FAL type rifle. The only mod is a legal, shortened barrel. The cheap hollow plastic pistol-grip has always bugged me. It just feels really cheap & cheezy.

I believe there are rubber grips for the inch pattern rifles but not for my metric one.

Other than an entire wood furniture kit, do any of you guys know of a better aftermarket pistol grip? --------Thanks! ]]> General Rifles and Shotguns magazineman http://ift.tt/1UhEvYO http://ift.tt/21fvT60 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 16:43:31 GMT Getting a colt 04691 for custom build, will shoot idpa and conceal carry. I had bought it to use a push through resizing die for 40 cal. Don't use it anymore and it's clogging up my basement. If I remove the handle I can fit it in a medium flat rate, so that is how it will ship.

Hey guys some member pointed out that the used CQB I picked up sight was far over. It was over way to the left, and I brought it to my local pistolsmith to have him re- center it. He said it was pretty easy to drift left and right, he recommended me finding where the pistol hits, and once I do that, put red-locktite on it. I was wondering, is my sight missing a set screw or something? There are no marks on the finish of the sight to suggest someone tried adjusting it before unless they used a sight pusher tool. Its the Combat Pyramid style fixed rear sight with tritium inserts. I have not shot the pistol yet, the previous owner does remember the pistol shooting off or anything like that, he feels pretty bad about it, Thanks.

I have some reliable Glocks and a revolver but the 1911 platform is in a league of it's own. I used to own a Kimber Stainless II over 10 years ago but vowed never to buy another 1911 again because it always jammed on me and clearing the chamber got old after a while. In the beginning of this year I took my chances on a NIB blued Colt Government and despite the the hammer bite it worked flawlessly. The tolerances were tight and the thing just felt tough chambering a 45 and being all steel. A couple months later I bought SS Colt Commander and had the same experience. Now I just bought a Springfield TRP and pick it up this Friday. I wanted something with all the bells and whistles so to speak. I can't wait to shoot it at the range...The draw back is these pistols cost 2x if not 3x as much as the Polymer wonders. Hopefully 3 1911 in my stable will satisfy the bug  ]]> General Gun Discussion spurbitten http://ift.tt/1UhEu7i http://ift.tt/21fvS1Q Wed, 27 Apr 2016 15:06:01 GMT New still in package Wilson 9mm Elite Tactical Compact 10 rounder LoPro steel base pad Shipped $40 PayPal gift New still in package
